Radio City

published July 28, 2008

A US court recently struck down a half-million-dollar fine for the 9/16ths
of one second television broadcast of a nipple during the 2004 Superbowl.

When levying the fine, the Federal Communications Commission had
declared the broadcast "indecent."

That debate was on my mind when I took these photos of the famous
Radio City building (part of Rockefeller Center in NYC) in Dec. 2004.

And when I took this one (above the lobby leading to the Rockefeller Center's
Observation Deck). Home to the Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular,
these building have been visited by families since 1932.
